Maytrx's Chatmod Application



Introduction:


I have been a long time lichcraft player and since the beginning, I always held a passion for being one of the community members that can provide a more premium experience simply by upholding the responsibilities and role parameters that staff members are given and abide by. If I remember correctly I applied for the chatmod position somewhere around 2015 to 2016 time frame and was denied because of a lengthy and quite noticeable punishment history. I atone for the stupid decisions I have made but that was a different time of my life. I realized that I was not able to reach success as a staff member on old lichcraft because I gained a notorious reputation for being a delinquent and a chatterbox. Joining new era lichcraft I try to be nice and humble towards the fellow players and members of the staff team. I made this introduction before my reasoning simply based on how I may have treated other people in the past. I'm sorry if the 14 year old version of myself 6 years ago wronged you. Its something I will have to live with. Thank you.

I am 20 years of age. I was born on February 14th 1999. I currently Live in the state of Florida. I can provide you with my Florida issued Drivers license. I work part time at a popular grocery store chain that is known throughout the Northeast United States. Working part time provides me enough money to pay for my rent and several other bills but my availability to play will not be dampered because of my time frame for work.


Why you would like to become a Chatmod:


Reason A:


Being a lichcraft veteran holds a giant plethora of knowledge someone who might be applying for the first time does not acquire. In the server Survival, for example, I know how the claiming system works. I know what tools you need and how one would have to explain claiming land or removing a claim would work. I know basic "Slice of life" commands (Which is what I call commands you use on a Day-to-Day basis) such as ./home ./shop and commands that are strictly entrusted to specific ranks such as "Emperor", Like ./Fly or ./God.

Reason B:

I understand how important maturity and accountability is needed, and also how much is required to maintain this role so others can look to me as a role model, or a respected elder of the community. To achieve this, I will have to show players I can handle their large variety of issues, and are able to do them quickly and in a timely manner. As far as accountability goes, this can be achieved simply by being a staff member long enough for players to trust you. This also is applied as a member of the staff team. This means trying to get others to work together as a team, and promoting synergy amongst others so that we all can do our part to help players.


Reason C:


Being mechanically inclined has several benefits, one being I love to work on computers (Strictly hardware based), I like to work on old desktops and try to fix gaming consoles for a hobby and I think a small chunk of my interest in this subject matter could come in handy if a player is encountering issues related to Minecraft or if you have a question I might be able to help to the best of my ability. This also applies to optifine, questions about installing java, or even issues you face when trying to browse the forums.

Reason D:


A good amount of players know who I am because I used to frequent lichcraft survival everyday back when the server was in it's heyday. I met some old faces and seen some new ones in my time playing and talking on the server itself and in discord. Several lichcraft OG's know me as a down to earth guy that likes to crack jokes (and fair warning to whomever is deciding if I get staff or not, I like dad jokes and I tell them from time to time.) This reason can can best be summarized by saying that Players don't like strict uptight moderators who would ban a player for using capital letters 1 time. Another example would be saying a curse word simply on accident and getting punished. I also am a human being and I screw up all the time. Everybody on this server is a gamer and wants to have fun. I recognize that, and I can make quick rational decisions that will appease players and the fellow members of the Lichcraftia staff.

I don't think this counts but I have amounted an allotment of photos during my tenure playing through old era Lichcraft and I can try to find them and provide them as my proof and knowledge to help players. But to make sure this follows the right criteria, Im going to put N/A as an answer.



Have you ever been banned from Lichcraftia? If so, why?

No I have not. I did get a automated server mute several weeks ago. Me and and another fellow Lichcraft player Antinerf (He's a close friend of mine.) Were hanging out at his base and we usually laugh and goof around and crack jokes, and the next day I noticed that people could not see me when I talked in chat. I talked to Tano_ and I was able to get the problem solved. But to answer this question No. I have not been banned on Lichcraftia nore have I ever wanted too.


Do you have any past experience?


Yes! I worked as a Chatmod that was later promoted to Moderator of a server owned by a Player named Butchering. He was popular on lichcraft and was quite decent at PVP. The servers max player count was 30-35 on survival and closer to 40 players when they opened a faction server. Another honorable mention was the head Admin Huskyplays. Both brilliant in Minecraft Mechanics and coding. I was promoted based on my skill to handle the masses when the server reached its max player count that I mentioned previousily. It was an australia based server so I Had to get on at different times to attend meetings but All-in-all I had a great experience and learned alot about server moderation.


Do you have any programming experience? (coding, configuring, etc..)

No. Like I have mentioned earlier, I know alot about computer hardware and can answer questions along those lines. If players need help with Optifine or general qestions about minecraft I also will be happy to help.


Any other information you'd like to include here:

Yes! I am huge into music and I love every type of genre there is! Also the decade or time frame does not matter either. I can listen to a song that was released yesterday or I can choose to listen to Mozart when I want to study or focus. If you ever see me ask me what I have been listening to this week. I have songs I listen to over and over on repeat that I like for that week in general. Id love to talk about music with you or anybody reading this .
